Hey everyone. In what has become a Christmas Eve tradition, of sorts, I would like to wish all of those Freepers who, like myself, have for whatever reason found themselves alone this Christmas Eve.
I hope this thread can, as in previous years, serve as a gathering place for the solo folks who may otherwise have little or no contact with others on this celebrated evening.
You are not alone, really.

My in laws are going to a Hanukkah service tonight. They are excited. They are Christian. They are very honored.

Happy Hanukah! I just made a nice batch of Doughnuts, want a calorie free cyber doughnut?
I did find a really GOOD recipe, so they came out fantastic. They were exactly what I wanted.
There was one error in the recipe and that was the oil temperature...they listed a temp that was too high so I had to adjust.
All I want for Christmas is for the Chiefs to annihilate the Broncos tomorrow night.
I am Jewish so tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, going to my sisters house..I want to with EVERYONE here on Freerepublic a wonderful and blessed Christmas(And Hanukkah for the Jewish FR members) and the happiest and healthiest New Year!!!
It is a little different from “normal” alcohol, it has a very high percentage (proof), but the wormwood seems to make your mind very clear and prescient, while the high alcohol content disrupts your bodies motor functions.
I’ve heard great things about Hacksaw Ridge.

We’re nibbling on a summer sausage beef stick, a block of parmesan cheese from Italy, a jar of Castelvetrano olives, some cherry tomatoes and some garlic breadsticks. Just drank a nice Stella Artois beer.

Merry Christmas. Alone this year. Lost my wife two years ago. She loved Christmas. Managed to put a tree up this year. I chose to be alone tonight. I could have spent the holiday with my sister and her family but didn’t want to travel all the way to FL.

I have a plate of doughnuts for me, and whomever wants a cyber doughnut...AND I have a plate of nut brittle that I made last night for my neighbors and anybody who would like some.
The goodies are for real, but they won't fit through the wireless airwaves lol!
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all. With God you’re never alone. It’s just my wife and l so Christmas is a bit muted for us as we are the only ones without children. But we are blessed to have each other. So if you feel you’re alone know that God is with you always.

I will be meeting my grown sons at my mom’s house tomorrow for a small get together.
