When Saul Alinsky began building his community-organization movement in 1930s Chicago, observers were watching Alinsky with one eye, while with the other eye observing the building of communist and fascist movements in Europe. It wasn't hard then to see in Alinsky's programs at home, elements of the people's revolution from Russia, as well as some of the same "in your face" tactics being employed by Hitler's Brownshirts.
What Alinsky's critics saw was the burgeoning of a national movement, the carefully manipulated construction of people's organizations, which all had two elements in common: (1) a collectivist creed, which denied the existence of personal responsibility; and (2) an amoral dogma, in which all means were justified by an imaginary utopian end.
While most modern Americans remember well Hitler's Holocaust and the Cold War waged by a solid U.S.S.R., many of these same Americans have swallowed some false history regarding the movements that spawned such widespread, horrendous results. In what may be regarded as the most triumphant propaganda victory of our time, fascism has been scrubbed of all its Marxist roots, while communism has been scrubbed of its millions of callous murders.
This post-WWII propaganda coup undeniably set the stage for the early Alinsky critics' most feared eventuality, that the massive organizations could be shrewdly adopted by a fascist demagogue, someone who could "seize leadership and control" and turn them into a "Frankenstein's monster against democracy."
But perhaps the most cunning propaganda feat in history has been undertaken for the past 8 years. As Jonah Goldberg expertly expounds in his book, Liberal Fascism, American left-wing ideologues have managed to dissociate themselves from all the horrors of fascism with a "brilliant rhetorical maneuver." America has dodged the Obama Liberal Fascist Bullet. We almost succumbed to the left but the People of America awakened to the clear and present danger that Obama constituted. The Affordable Health Care Act from Shiver's point of view in her article from 2009 , was a liberal fascist play to redistribute wealth, effecting small business and employers so that they would become insolvent, cutting the economic legs out from under America, a draconian law of fascist social engineering.
The IRS under Obama became the enforcer of barely disguised Liberal Fascist policies.
From this point of view Obama's use of NATO and the CIA to kill Mohammar Gadaffi, an American ally who killed Arab Spring jihadhis ,albeit a dictator, , to destroy the 8th wonder of the World ( The Great Man MAde River Greening the Libyan desert)comitting genocide by thirst, and to open sub Saharan Africa up to the jihad ( Boko Haram etc), while supporting a dictator, non-US ally like Fidel Castro is clearly illustrative of the fascism of Obama, but the media covered this aspect of Obama up, concealing the darkness of Obama's actions.They still do but now we have President Trump joining that battle.
It was writers like Kyle Anne Shiver, who knew the historical definition of true fascism that pegged Obama in 2009, predicted his fascism, and help all of us to initiate the resistance to Obama, calling on patriots around the world to expose Obama's true meaningful place in history. We have won that battle, and Obama in his last few weeks is still trying to save his fascist legacy as we see more of his fascist ways unapologetic-ally coming forward to public view.
Obama attempted to destroy America and replace it with a liberal fascist Utopia. Obama said he was a "dreamer," but in fact all of his dreams without exception were nightmares in action.
I post this as a thank you to Kyle Anne Shiver and people like her who understand the genuine historical context of Fascism. So did Jonah Goldberg in his book, "Liberal Fascism." Also Thank you to professor Gilbert Allardyce, the worlds foremost academic researching and teaching the history of Fascism and its social workings.
Without them we perhaps would not have dodged the bullet. But we have. Now it is also our task to relegate Obama and his leftists fascists to the dust bin of history, there to rot and compost into the fertilizer of freedom. Obama has lots of company in there. He will not go lonely, but in the end he will be nothing but compost, and America's Republic will be Great once again. We have kept it.

That is true, but I have been thinking a lot lately about this chap Obama, and was he firing blanks?
Seriously, I have a friend in Business and all his customers had capital projects ready to rock and roll on 11/9/12 and Romney blew it. The projects never happened. If fascism is Private Ownership and Gov't Control, they weren't playing, the capital has been sitting on the sidelines for these projects now for 4 years waiting for the usurper to be gone! This goes for everything this community organizer did. He couldn't inflict long term change, all he did via executive orders will be undone. the crazy utopian stuff with the military will be undone IMHO. Obamacare? Gone, and IMHO the template that will emerge will also work for Medi-care-caid and the VA and possibly solve those financial messes given to us by LBJ. Dodd-Frank? That one will be tough.
Have the Aliskites left a progressive mark on our culture that will take generations to reverse? Yes, I see the ingredients in the bowl of epistemological soup these millennials are in terms of their beliefs and I am not eating it, yuk. That Obama fostered and will be his legacy along with setting the worlds balance on fire, and I have trouble finding Alinsky in that, that might be his old prof @ Cornell who was a anti colonial MBH radical.
The more I think of Obama the more I see a huge failure. Leadership, non-existent, it took him days to come to the podium on an issue and then his verbal pentameter and tortured and excruciating mental gymnastics in choosing each word was his curtain trying to cover the Alinsky-Wright-Marshall-etc etc roots has really struck me of late. It is his indelible stamp of his ineffectiveness, he is not the orator nor the statesmen that the hope and changey voters thought he was in 08'.
I am rather optimistic at this point. IMHO it will be the 80's again soon, and much of this SJW -PC crap will go bye-bye as the most basement dwelling neo-socialist will have to come out of that dungeon as their will be more jobs than we can shake a stick at.
Maybe by having 8 years of Alinsky in our face, maybe it is time to give his world view ceremonial burial and if it is a pyre that is fine by me. I think that will happen organically. Scratch the surface of what Obama brought about in Libya ( genocide.).Through out the middle East Obama is responsible for millions of unnecessary deaths.
