I sometimes enjoy watching videos of people shooting for the first time, esp. when they are from a place where guns are forbidden to general public. I found this one today and I think the instructor does a very good job of helping a very timid woman take her first shots and get used to firing a weapon.

Also a great demonstration of just how difficult it is to shoot a handgun and actually hit your target.

That is one great instructor.
Allowed her to progress at her own pace, while being encouraging.

Ping!
If you want to make some money, set up a shooting range in Hawaii or Guam.
Those Asian Tourists spend a mint there.

This instructor did well by starting the new student off with a .22 LR.
Whenever I start out new shooters, I always give them a weapon with only one round loaded for their first few shots.
After a few shots when they’re comfortable the noise and the recoil, and I see that they’re not going to drop the weapon when startled by the first shot, then I will give them a full magazine or cylinder for further shooting.

Excellent. Years ago when I was a Silicon Valleyite, I would always take my foreign visitors shooting and go-kart racing. Anyone can go to a boring and stuffy dinner.
