The District Court judge basically ignored the statute that clearly states Trump's single authority to limit immigration in any way he sees fit without any limitation. The state of Washington has no standing...only persons traveling from those 7 countries have standing. This hocus-pocus lawsuit is laughable.

Trump should not appeal this ruling to SCOTUS because of risk to set a precedent against future successful rulings on executive orders.

A related question: What happens if the Supreme Court were to, say, issue a 5-4 edict that Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be assuming total command of the federal government, and that the President and Congress should go home and not be seen again? Obviously, the Court lacks firepower in the literal sense to enforce this; but what could be done legally to prevent something like this? And how does this absurd hypothetical case differ from what is actually happening?

I just read a Drudge linked story and am perplexed. I thought that people who are not citizens of the United States had to get permission to enter the country. In other words, if you live in Syria, you just can’t decide on your own to enter the United States. Is that the case? What is this flooding into the country? Can the Chinese army just decide that they want to enter the country and climb on planes?

Lawyers know how to drag on forever when it is in their favor.

If he can file the appeal within the period required and then his lawyers drag it out until there are 9 judges on the court, fine.

If he can not drag it out, then he would be better off to circumvent it with executive orders worded differently, A few dozen, or a hundred if necessary, executive orders would give him time to seat another judge.

Trump should direct Jeff Sessions at DOJ to hold these leftists as accomplices to any terror or crime committed by those the leftists let in. I think it should go back to 0bama refugees. Immaterial. The purpose of either one is to remove the ability of "We The People"to have a say in anything, and for the Constitution to mean only what they say it means… or whether it exists at all. This is bad- and rest assured that they aren't after Trump, they are after US.

Going Jackson is our only shot. Way too many people in power will never accept Trump as potus. And I’m not sure Kennedy will vote with Trump. If he loses in the SC his only option is Jackson. Otherwise he is powefledx and will sit in the oval office as a figurehead.
