Paul Ryan is certainly corrupt, but I believe McConnell is even worse [openly declared war on the Tea Party]. That’s probably why Trump has to jump through Ryan’s hoops to get a tax cut.
Note that McConnell is already saying that we can’t get tax cuts by August.
We need a strong economy to have any healthcare at all. Doctors need money.
So in Trump’s view, we get tax cuts this year — or bust! Then next year we work on increasing competition and bringing free market values as much as possible back to healthcare [along with deregulation].
I just hope Ryan can help Trump overwhelm RINOs in the Senate over tax cuts. AND I hope that Trump distances himself as much as possible from this fiasco, making it clear he always wanted something better.
I was hoping they would do the tax cuts first. All the optimism in business, expansion and hiring plans, is based on promised tax cuts and deregulation.
