Assad is a rumor. We’re told he’s bad, we’re shown he’s bad repeatedly by the Media. The only thing I want out of Syria is control of Lebanon, and ceding the Golan heights to Israel.
I don’t care about his people. I don’t want to ‘set them free’ western style. Short of genocide, I really don’t care what he does internally for his nation.
They need to respect every nation Including Israel and cede Golan heights as a booty of war. If he doesn’t do that then He’ll just keep getting nitpicked by the west.
Interesting—What does it mean?
A) Little man is going to do his nuke Test.
B) Little Man may launch his rockets toward the US Carrier Group.
C) Little man is going to launch an all out war on Japan, South Korea, American troops—in hopes of an early victory before we can send in a real army. His goal—capture US Troops and hold them hostage.
D) Launch an attack on California, Pearl Harbor.
E) Co-ordinate an attack with Iran/Hezbollah on the USN.
Or maybe nothin-hoping we will give him money to not attack us.

I was watching some documentary on NK last night. The HUGE roads in the capital with a few people walking, and a couple of cabs going past per minute. I thought “Well - at least the roads are good for their military parades.”
Little did I realize that they were built that way for evacuation!
Looks like the winners of the Korean lottery will be receiving their prizes soon. Prayers up for the militaries of the world.
Just as an aside, isn’t it great to be able to have a rational discussion about the strategies that may be behind various movements? Under Obama, there was only aimlessness and confusion to discuss.

We have seen behavior such as this before, but only found in Statist, Fascist, and Dictatorial regimes where ideology superceeds logic.
One of the ways to minimize starvation is to eliminate a certain percentage of the population,
and thus , reinforce the importance of the leadership, or to reinforce the ideology.
Ideology, or perhaps the dictator's need to stay in power and survive.
Go to Google Maps and zoom in over Pyongyang, switch to satellite images.

He can’t reach the West Coast yet, but he will be able if not stopped.
We’ve let our preps dwindle because we moved off the East coast and to the Ozarks. I was telling the wife yesterday that it’s time to start prepping again, including building a “root cellar” (with 3 foot of earth over it and a ventilation pipe that does a U after coming out of the ground so that it faces down and preferably with a HEPA filter on it) Our KI pills are a little out of date but would hopefully still do something. Maybe double dose it.
Me thinks the “weekly prepping thread”, which I haven’t seen lately, ought to be daily for a while. Meanwhile; it’s not a bad thing to know how to throw something together real quick as far as a shelter.
Expedient fallout shelters.
