A man has been charged with fatally shooting a Marine in the drive-thru of a McDonald's in Bedford, Indiana, according to police and NBC affiliate WTHR.
Justin Lampkins, 25, was in a truck with his friends in line at the fast food restaurant early Saturday morning about 1:19 a.m., police say. The Marine Corps veteran was involved in a fight after a horn was sounded in the line and Evan Schaffer,22, got out of his car and punched Lampkins, WTHR reports.
Police say it's unclear who honked the horn.

People get into fights over the dumbest things. Way to go. Go to prison for life for killing someone over a big mac.
I had an a-hole relative who was given that choice. He retired from the military the same piece of scum as when he entered, just more arrogant with a uniform. “America’s Most Wanted” had filmed a piece on him but it never aired. Can’t say I shed a tear over his or his equally a-hole Lt. Col. dad’s demise.
Yes, Some of the finest leaders I have ever worked with/for were Marine Corps officers - and some of the most evil, lying, backstabbing, SOB’s I have ever known were Marine Corps officers (Unfortunately several of them made it to Colonel and General).
The heart and soul of the Marine Corps (and all of the other services) are the company grade officers (LTs / Captains) and SNCO’s. Senior officers become very political and politically correct, especially under Clintoon and Obozo.
Just looking at his mugshot makes me wish the Marine had pounded his face into the tarmac.
“Now instead of a honk being taken in stride, people erupt in boiling rage.”
Which so fail to understand. Honking annoys me but never know who people are honking at, who did the honking only that the honking itself is annoying. It’s not enough to make me want to punch someone but just get away from the nerve wracking sound.
In my younger days, I would go there to explore Indiana caves (Sullivan's, Wayne's). Beautiful countryside.
