In 2000, measles were declared eliminated inside the United States. But states are seeing an unusual increase in cases, which are typically linked to international travel and refugees migrating into the United States.
Muslims practicing Islam also do not believe in vaccination. As reported by World Net Daily:
Dr. Andrew Bostom, M.D., an academic internist specializing in general internal medicine who has also authored several books about the history of Islam, said Muslim communities often prove difficult to convince that vaccinations are appropriate for their children.
The case against vaccinations is first an Islamic one, he said, citing a 2011 article by Dr. Majid Katme, spokesman for the Islamic Medical Association in the United Kingdom.
We are giving our innocent children haram [forbidden] substances and harmful chemicals that destroy their natural immune systems, causing disease, suffering and death, Dr. Katme wrote.

The eradication of these diseases was always the crowing achievement of our civilization.
Now we let it return because we couldn't even screen people coming into our own country!!
Now our children will suffer for our arrogate belief that all cultures are equal simply because they exist.
Small pox blankets circa 2017. We must bend to them and expose ourselves directly to deadly diseases to appease a child molester that died 1300 years ago.
The also don’t use TP, but hose their @$$ off and carry the residual fences around on their body.
Geez, stupid phone auto-correct.
We officially live in the future and computers can't even figure out if a sentence makes sense or not with a word IT changed.
feces...
No, you are giving your innocent children Islam, which is harmful and causing disease, suffering and death.
Islam is proud to be an enemy of civilization.
Thanks for clearing that up. I kept reading it over a few times and still couldn’t make “cents” of it! LOL
Thank you Obama.
You miserable excuse for a pResident.
Vaccines to prevent disease is haram, but cutting off little girls genitalia is Allah’s will.
The Muslin Anti-Immunization issue appears to address itself. I also recall Savage discussing this with a wide problem without new immigrations and calling for the CDC prosecuted. There was a reason for Ellis Island.
BTW, that blanket myth is debunked.
Once, long ago, I was training in the Peace Corps to teach English as a foreign language in lovely Afghanistan (I never went). Anyhow we were expected to be ‘jacks of all trades’ and one thing were trained to do was administer small pox vaccinations (which will tell you how long ago it was).
Two things I remember.
We were told that our biggest obstacle to any success in any endeavor would be the mullah. He would be against anything we did to bring Afghans out of the 7th century.
Women volunteers were considered especially valuable because only they could see, touch, talk to, vaccinate, or even refer to Afghan women. But even they had to tread very carefully.
But then again, all cultures are really equal and the more diverse we get, the stronger we are!
I am sure there are anti vaccers here at FR who have similar ideas
Many times over
Didn’t 0Bozo tell us that the moozies gave us all modern science and medicine??
Oh, there are! Yikes, if you read history, a measles epidemic is catastrophic.
Going behind l Iraqi local nationals in our compound’s public restrooms was often a disgusting experience. Imagine puddled brown water...
I’m not a anti-vaccine in any shape or form...
That being said, since the late 80’s there has been serious issues with vaccines and the number our children are given.
The USA is the most heavily vaccinated country in the world and has the highly number of vaccine related injuries.
Federal recommend 69 doses for 16 vaccines ? Really ?
