Amen! It’s been such a busy few days of news that I felt as if I has nobody to discuss it with. Just lurked at L’s site but their layout sucks compared to FR and the posters are not nearly as knowledgeable.
I created a Facebook Account to visit FR on Facebook. I did nothing else to that account except view Free Republic — no posts, no comments, nothing. Also, I had nothing on my page and ‘friended’ no one. I was immediately banned from FB to this day, when the only thing I did with my account was visit FR!

To this day I have refused to join FB... Somehow I was able to go there and monitor for Jim’s updates and FR commentary without signing up with a full page view...

I don’t understand why Jim Robinson wouldn’t just do a dedicated Freepathon to where all that money is dedicated to creating a backup system for redundancy. I think most Freepers would support this and then a 5 day outage would never have to happen again. Simple.
I joined 2 days ago and was banned the same day. I thought I had to join to read FR. Understand that I did NOTHING but visit Free Republic and was banned.
