Culture Nazis have claimed another victory by shutting down a small business in Portland.
The pop-up shop Kooks Burritos sold authentic Mexican food and that simply would not do.
See, white people making tacos is cultural appropriation they say, and better to force the place out of business than put up with that.
Kali Wilgus and LC Connelly are owners were owners of Kooks Burritos. They took a trip to Mexico to pick the brain of the local tortilla makers and brought their cooking secrets back to the states.
I picked the brains of every tortilla lady there in the worst broken Spanish ever, and they showed me a little of what they did, Connelly told Willamette Weekly.
They told us the basic ingredients, and we saw them moving and stretching the dough similar to how pizza makers do before rolling it out with rolling pins. They wouldnt tell us too much about technique, but we were peeking into the windows of every kitchen, totally fascinated by how easy they made it look. We learned quickly it isnt quite that easy.

....BTW most Mexican food is dull and boring. There are some, but very few Mexican restaurants have great menus.
Prepare now.

How the pacified and self-medicated sheeple are “preparing”...

Flour tortillas have been culturally misappropriated by Mexicans
Tortillas are not Mexican if they’re made with flour
They’re from Germany or Austria or Spain, (or the ME) depending on who’s bragging
Corn tortillas are an indigenous copy of flour tortillas
How’s that for an in-your-face to culture warriors?
Today’s motto of the dis-United States of America from the Democrats and their socialist/liberal/communist allies:
E Unum Pluribus -— Out of one, many.
Come to East Tennessee. We're friendly here, we are polite to newcomers, and we love Mexican food whether made by Mexicans or People of Pallor.
Y'all.
come on down Texas for some Tex-Mex ... if you're still bored the fault is an internal one.
Anyone wearing a t-shirt and Jeans who is not American is ripping off our culture. I am offended and I think they should be arrested.
We need to seek out every restaurant owned by minorities and make sure they’re serving only culturally appropriate food. If a Latino is running a steak restaurant or a pizza parlor shut him down!
Almost all of the cuisine known as “Mexican food” here in the U.S. was developed in Texas, NM and Southern California. Each of those regions has created several styles of their own.
Go ahead, go to Mexico, get away from any Americanized resorts, and try their traditional dishes. They’re bland and uninspiring. You won’t find anything you recognize as “Mexican food” there. Only superficially anyway.
you’re right on.....we should demand that only Italians make Italian food, and only Poles can make halupki and pirogue, and only Germans can make beer....
It is getting VERY close to the time where certain SJW’s and their enablers ... liberal officials ... are found that way
Racist Culture Warriors Shut Down White-Owned Burrito Shop in Portland, Oregone.
This Visit Portland TV ad forgot to mention the fun of being in riots paid for by George $oreA$$ , watching a stoner masturbate in public*, and the fun of closing a non hispanic burrito place while on vacation in Portland, Oregone.

It must be time to start picketing Chinese restaurants owned and operated by Hispanics, oh and how about pizza places? That be Italy-stealin’
I will say this - Mexican cheese is far superior to American cheese on tacos. I always use the Mexican cheese (the white cheese that crumbles). Also their taco sauce is much better.
I used to get big bottles of very cheap Mexican hot sauce at Smith's in ABQ. Excellent on tacos. It disappeared from their shelves and through extensive web searches I finally found the company had been denied the license to export to the U.S. for some manufacturing quality issue. I tend to believe they didn't pay the proper vig or else they would have solved the issue and gotten re-approved by now.
Sriracha does it for me these days. Great stuff!
