A good friend just asked me this morning, "What would have happened if a conservative were to have tried to shoot Democrat legislators?" He went on to say that all hell would have broken loose in the media and across the country. Conservatives, however, have not had violent, in-the-street demonstrations and calls for reprisal.

The real difference is that if it had been the Democrat team practice, the media would be non-stop, relentlessly running the angles etcetera. There will be some mention of it now, since it plays into the constant gun confiscation and anti-2nd themes, but not like if it was Democrats.

I am sure the old media will drag through the shooter’s past writings/postings, and found ‘tea party’ in some of them, egos, the white shooter is/was a tea party member.

If the framing doesn’t fool the public, they will scream Gun Control instead. All their bases are covered.
