The LSM would already be telling us where he stayed in DC and with whom and where he went (everything and everyplace would be suspect).

His wife would be interviewed "live" on TV giving a tearful apology for his very existence ("live" because she would be coached that it would be in the "best interests of the country"). The store where he bought the gun would be picketed 24 hours a day (with live streaming on YT and clips shown hourly on the "news").

Dem congress-critters would bring congress work to a halt to protest this "assault on our nation's soul". Demands would follow for immediate confiscation of all guns from registered Repubs (and any conservatives they could find).

Liberalism is a mental disorder. Enough has happened over the last years that pretty much all of us here now recognize that fact. The hate that these people express is so vile that it is easy for them to become unhinged and do something like this. Conservatives think, are less likely to become unhinged, and are less likely driven insane by their feelings.
