A little bit sarcastic but mostly true.
The link above says 19% not 25%, does not specify liberals, and admits that it may not be accurate; it’s probably worse. So I took a few liberties with the number. (Either mis-remembered it or saw that number at a different source.
There are SO MANY startling statistics out there that you never hear in the media. (Example: In 2009 (based on data collected in 2010), 57 percent of households headed by an immigrant (legal and illegal) with children (under 18) used at least one welfare program, compared to 39 percent for native households with children. Source: http://cis.org/immigrant-welfare-use-2011 . Stunning, to me, but so is the 39%.)
