So sorry for your loss! We are grateful for his service. The passing of so many WWII veterans, including my Dad and all of my uncles, is a great loss personally and for our nation. These are courageous men who loved America! I always love walking up to WWII vets, shaking their hands, and thanking them. 70 years later, many still tear up when talking about their service. What a great blessing it has been for you to have had your Dad for so long. Men like him are few and far between these days.

I am so sorry. My father will soon be joining your father - he is not expected to live thru this summer. Korean War vet, stationed in Germany. Air Force.
