Several thousand passengers are stuck on a cruise ship docked in Alaska's capital city as authorities investigate the death of a 39-year-old Utah woman following a domestic dispute aboard the vessel.
The FBI and Coast Guard are investigating the death, which occurred Tuesday night on a Princess Cruises ship. The FBI is involved because the death occurred in U.S. waters.
The Emerald Princess arrived in Juneau about 8 a.m. Wednesday, and none of the 3,400 passengers have been allowed to get off the ship as of late afternoon.

We cruise a lot this would suck big time
wow, that’s crazy stuff.... I took that very cruise once, on a different Princess line ship.... only cruise I’ve ever been on! It’s a spectacular route with all the mountains and glaciers....
Makes me wonder who will pick up the tab for the extra days?
Visions of Hercule Poirot.
They are in dock. The good part: The cruise line will be able to provision the ship for their stay in dock, as it takes their total days beyond what they provisioned the ship for its cruise. The bad part: The passengers have schedules of one sort or another planned for when the cruise ends. Some of those plans include additional travel reservations from the final port-of-call to their next destination, be it home or anywhere else. Some will have those plans messed up. The delay getting to the final port of call might incur additional expenses for some passengers.
Well if the FBI is investigating I guess we can expect the investigation to drag on for years, and end with no indictments or even a report what they found.
Murder Mystery Cruise
3,400 passengers, one domestic altercation.
How many clues can ALL of these passengers have? Geez.
Prayers up, for all.
Spontaneous center fuel tank explosion.
We did a 15 day turnaround San Diego to Hawaii we had to miss the island of Maui because we had to steam one day out of our way to rescue three men on the sailboat the captain was injured and the ship was scratch that the sailboat was no longer operational It lost its mast a engine was in bad shape 48 footer all we got was $50 per person at ship credit kind of sucked we left the sailboat adrift funny thing 3weeks later the sailboat ran aground on Maui
You really dont know much about how they provision crusie ships do you
as of 4.40 local time the passengers were allowed to disembark...its 5.25PM there now...
thnx!
Or the accused had no intend to kill.
Two questions. Was James Comey aboard and did the woman know anything about the Clinton’s crimes?
Cool video - thanks for sharing that!
Enjoy! Most likely open bar and vouchers for next cruise. Our ship on one cruise to Alaska had a mishap (did not affect us) and Norwegian Cruise Lines gave us $500 vouchers for each cabin booked to be used for future cruises within a year.
Father Brown and Poirot are on the case.
We loved being able to tell the story when we got to hilo the fireboat came out and escorted us in with a water cannon salute Sad about 15 people went ballistic and the folks we rescued were restricted to sick bay Some how we got to eat at the captains table one night and we got a deluxe bridge tour I got to steer the thing it was fun
