Lena Dunham is calling out American Airlines after the actress claimed to have overheard two apparent employees engaged in "transphobic talk."
The "Girls" creator said her flight on another airline was delayed for hours Wednesday at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Dunham, 31, wrote that the "worst part of this night" waiting at the airport came when she overheard two American Airlines' "attendants having a transphobic talk."
"At this moment in history we should be teaching our employees about love and inclusivity @AmericanAir," she added in a subsequent tweet. "That was worst part of this night."
Dunham then seemingly posted a screenshot of a direct message conversation she said she'd had with the airline.
In the message, the actress goes into further detail about what she claims to have overheard, writing that they were "talking about how trans kids are a trend they'd never accept a trans child and transness is gross."
"I think it reflects badly on uniformed employees of your company to have that kind of dialogue going on," Dunham continued. "What if a trans teen was walking behind them? Awareness starts at home but jobs can set standards of practice. Thanks for your consideration!"
In another screenshot, American Airlines appears to have replied, writing that they're "passing this along to our team to review."

How does she know they were female? I mean, how does she know they identify as females? Perhaps they appear to be female, however , liberal bitches such as Lena Dunham lecture us about gender identity and all that. You can’t assume someone is male or female; you can’t assume that their appearance as stereotypical female, in this case,indicates that the people in question identify as female.
Lena Dunham is guilty of the same kind of alleged bigotry she accuses others of.

This reminds me of something that happened to me one time.
I was boarding a flight to come home from doing an out of town project for work. I found my seat and noticed there were a couple of good looking off duty female flight attendants sitting behind me. They were having a discussion about the guy one of them had met.
Apparently they thought no one could hear them. The discussion got to whether he was good looking or not and how was the sex. The one replied that he really wasn’t that good looking but the sex was great. The other pops up and says “You could always put a bag over his head” and they busted up laughing.
I stood up and turned around with a smile on my face. All they could say was “oh sheot”. They got up later to help serve drinks and would smirk as they walked by and I would smirk back. We were now sharing a secret in common about how women actually talk about men. :)
I really enjoyed that priceless moment. lol
