In thunder and lightning speed, Carmelo Anthony is finally gone.
One day after Anthony finally opened up his wish list to include the Thunder and the Cavaliers, the Knicks sent their 33-year-old declining star off to Oklahoma City, agreeing on a framework of a deal centered around center Enes Kanter and Doug McDermott, multiple NBA sources confirmed to The Post.

The Knicks picked their pocket and ate their lunch all at the same time.
So long as we don’t have to hear any more about Melo and Phil Jackson, I’m happy!
The end of (another) unfulfilled Knick era.
Carmelo Anthony was an unbelievable offensive talent. He never did get a group around him to test how good a player he was.
I’m not familiar with the Thunder players coming. Are they going to make an immediate impact?
Honey Nut Cheerios
Who cares?
Won’t matter. Anthony will be second banana to Westbrook like Durant was. Different people, same outcome.
Knicks the winners here. Two starters and send OKC a headache a very talented one, but a headache nonetheless.
Two starters? I don’t think McDermott has ever been a starter. Kantner is an outstanding player on the offensive end, but a bad defender, and his contract is pretty high for a guy who was tough to keep on the floor in the playoffs because of his defense. (The Knicks might not have to worry about that.)
Don’t know much about B ball :)
Link most sports, it’s going down hill.
Carmelo Anthony would have been a much better player if he had had three or four years in college.
Anthony is a cancer on any team his ass lands on.
Hard to believe Billy Donovan signed off on this.
