Vegas massacre - we are now beyond truth

Posted on 10/05/2017 7:34:49 PM PDT by Treeless Branch

This very well might be the very point of the government failing to release any evidence of a motive; however, we are now beyond truth. What I mean by that is now - no matter what evidence the government releases, most of the people will simply not believe it. I won't. Even if they say it is Isis or a Democrat or both, I wont believe it. In this day and age, there is simply no reson why the FBI doesn't have a confident understanding of his motive. The government literally has access to every communication in our country. They WIRETAPPED THE PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. but they have no clue here. Whatever.

I agree with other Twits on that post. It's very possible he almost said "army of one" rather than "arms dealer." He stopped at "ar..." not "arms."/p>

It's all very sketchy. If he truly almost said "army of one," which would have fit with his previous sentences, then it sounds like he was aware of the plan before it went into action.

This is what happens when one lies.

No one believes you.

The media has no credibility. The government has no credibility.

Can they get it back?

Not with me. I don’t believe a thing they say about anything.

I am aware of “Occam’s Razor” and “Hanlon’s Razor...
I think we need another razor that says something like:
“Some people go crazy, and then they do crazy things.
It is a waste of time and effort to try to explain
what they do and why they do it.
It is enough to know that crazy people just do crazy things.”

I spoke to people today who had not heard about the fuel tanks. They were completely stunned. Is that info not going out over the MSM? I don’t have cable, so I don’t know. These are NPR and CNN listeners/watchers. I’m surrounded by liberals.

When the government announces something against their interests, it’s likely true.

This would include telling us Paddock was a leftist or islamic.

That is both true, and unlikely ever to happen.

Alfred Pennyworth: With respect Master Wayne, perhaps this is a man that *you* don't fully understand, either. A long time ago, I was in Burma. My friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So, we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never met anybody who traded with him. One day, I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.

Bruce Wayne: So why steal them?

Alfred Pennyworth: Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I listened to Newt Gingrich whine how its odd this man had no social-media profile or seemingly no connections.

I thought - NO. We just aren’t being told what they are.

For example, we know Hillary lies. A lot.

But imagine if she were to state something like “Trump stands for everything I’m against, but I must admit, he runs an excellent campaign.”

The statement can only be taken as true.

I think we need another razor that says something like: “Some people go crazy, and then they do crazy things.

Reading up on American mass shootings, it occurs to me that "crazy people doing crazy things" seems to be the explanation for most of them. Seldom is religion or politics a factor.

That’s Occam’s shaving cream, which allows the razor to work well.

In other words, context tells the true story.

He was speaking about how his brother was self-reliant and did not need anyone. Thus, logic would dictate that he was about to say that his brother was “an Army of One.” Of course, saying that after he had just hosed down a bunch of people with what was effectively a machine gun, made that a very unwise choice of words. So he stopped in mid-sentence. I don’t think that he was going to say arms dealer, because that would just not fit into the train of thought that he had started earlier in that clip.

Of course, I would have found it very convenient if he had actually said arms dealer, or even just arms, because that would explain not just where he got a good part of his wealth, but also what might have happened. One theory going around was that he was involved in a deal that went sour, was killed, and that whoever killed him decided to hose down the crowd outside as a diversion to get away. Another theory is that he was acting for the FBI as an arms dealer to entrap some Isis operators, and the deal went south, etc. Note that I don’t necessarily believe those theories, but I don’t dismiss them out of hand, either. There just is not enough information publicly available right now to come to any firm conclusion.

I spoke to people today who had not heard about the fuel tanks.

Personally, the more I think about it, the less I think he was deliberately aiming at the fuel tanks. I think they were collateral damage. Bump stock shooting isn't exactly accurate.

agree completely.

The authorities probably know MOST of his online/electronic activity:

It’s simply that honest RELEASE of same would act against Deep State interests.

At the very least they want to delay such release long enough to permit for gun law changes.

THEN:

if they release it at all they’ll release it in edited form AFTER such gun law passage.

Actually, it’s quite the opposite. Truth is the only thing we have left.
