Blacks in America are far better off than anywhere else in the world.

How much success would Oprah Winfrey have made if she were born in Rwanda or Saudi Arabia?

Name any black American citizen, and then try to compare what their life would have been like in any other country. Would they be better or worse off? It’s an easy answer.

“Bankrupt her and her poxy family in lawyer fees.”

I’m sure they are not paying for their lawyers.

IOW, on the date of this SCOTUS case, 1942: after the Japanese had overwhelmed most of Asia and the Germans most of Europe, and Rommel’s success in Africa was making the fight against the Axis powers look like WWII might be a close thing, it didn’t require a lot of political acumen or courage for the Court to rule, “No, we’re not going to require our children to give the Hitler Youth salute to our flag.”
So, different time, different facts (you lousy libertarian)
;o)

Settled law. Make your settlement with the student and apologize.

Principal is going to cost the district lots of money in legal bills and still lose.

The Pledge is Allegiance was authored by a socialist.

She can’t show a little solidarity?

Supreme Court already decided this and the law is on the kids side under religious freedom clause. Goes back to Jehovah Witnesses around WW2. Supreme Court also ruled in the 60s that HS kids can wear black armbands in protest. While we may not like it, the free speech laws have been adjudicated in this regard. Students do have the right to free speech when they enter the school grounds. If speech is removed for one class of citizens, then what other class should have their speech curtailed?

Not sure of her school system, but in CT, she would be getting a tutor come to her house and keep her up with her school mates.

If that is the case here, guess who is paying for that luxury.

Because she doesn't make it that way.

Her biggest problem in life is going be her.

Individuals make up the nation.
