Jack Ruby was a low life bar/strip club owner, he liked JFK a lot and was very upset that someone killed “my president.” He also was “friends” with many police officers in the downtown Dallas police precinct.

As irresponsible and ridiculous as it seems now, Ruby had a habit of dropping in and wanderng around the downtown police precinct office, visiting his “friends,” getting into secure areas where he shouldn’t have been in. He routinely carried a concealed hand gun because his strip club business. I’m sure the Dallas police knew and didn’t care if he carried his gun into the precinct office. In 1963, this kind of lack of security was not uncommon. These were much more innocent less violent times.

Ruby found out through chit chat with the police that they were going to move Oswald, and Ruby found out which path the police would take as they escorted Oswald. Ruby, because of his “friends” in the police department, was allowed to stand in the passageway where Oswald walked by, he had asked if he could see Oswald. His good old boy police friends let him, they didn’t see the harm.

So when Ruby shot Oswald, it was a shock and EXTREME embarassment for the police, their good old boy lax security measures led to Ruby shootng Oswald. I have no doubt that they scrambled and probably at first tried to cover up their negligence in maintaining security around Oswald.

Jack Ruby was another loser who puffed himself up because he could freely wander in and out of the police offices in Dallas. He impulsively and angrily shot Oswald, he liked JFK a lot.

Again, go back and read the current editions of “Case Closed” and “Reclaiming History”. Both books thoroughly debunk the notion that Ruby shot Oswald on behalf of others (and specifically the Mafia) who were part of a larger cover-up conspiracy.

“I’m sure the Dallas police knew and didn’t care if he [Ruby] carried his gun into the precinct office.” <—That’s absurd, given the alarming stress and tension of the day.

Jack Ruby:
Jack shouldn’t have been needed since Oswald should have been already executed. He was likely meant to be killed at the theater or some point earlier in the hour following his departure from the TSBD.

When the plan failed, the organizers got in contact with their former partners in the Op-Mongoose plots and set in motion a clean-up guy. The urgency escalated when Oswald attempted the call to John Hurt (CIA -Raleigh NC.) Since Jack Ruby had been stalking around the DPD for two days, even posing as a reporter at a press conference (unchallenged) he became the man of the hour.

Ruby accessed the prime suspect to the president’s murder with cooperation from the DPD. The ease by which Ruby gained entry into the DPD basement to kill Oswald was quite the camouflage job sold to the Warren Commission. The HSCA report on the DPD handling will clearlt contradicts the WCR.

Burt Griffin indicated it was BS and suspected that DPD Pat Dean, chief of security, was deceitful in his testimony regarding Ruby’s accessibility. Griffin sent a memo to Warren questioning Dean’s BS story. The Dallas Police responded along with the DA’s office and pressured Warren who eventually backed down and abandoned Griffin. Griffin’s suspicions were later validated.

The HSCA found out Dean lied about Ruby’s entry into the basement. Vaughn, the WC witness, pinned Ruby’s opportune entry entirely on the DPD and passed his polygraph test affirming these facts. OTH, Dean failed his own polygraph test whereby as chief of security, he had posed his own line of questioning, lol.

The DPD kept a key witness, Sgt. Flusche, away from the WC and Burt Griffin. Flusche had stood directly across the street from the ramp and Vaughn. Flusche knew Jack Ruby and told the HSCA it was impossible for Jack Ruby to have been in the proximity of the ramp prior to Oswald being escorted out by DPD.

During the actual film of Oswald being killed, there’s an odd occurrence within the movement of the DPD. Just as LHO steps from the elevator and they march him out of the foyer, Fritz breaks the pre-designed protective pocket that had encircled Oswald. Fritz briskly strides 10’- 14’ ahead, providing ample space for Ruby to frontally attack-shoot Oswald. Not that it was necessarily premeditated, but it happened and Fritz’s reaction to the shots fired were delayed in comparison to the other officers surrounding LHO.

Without this opportune failure of security, it would have been impossible for Jack Ruby to have killed Oswald that day. There is no doubt that Ruby had been allowed to stalk around DPD looking for Oswald for two days. He can be seen lurking behind other DPD officers.

But alas, we are to believe it’s just one lucky lone nut executing another lone nut.
