Lisa Bloom showed no care or consideration for at least three women who claim they were victims of sexual assault, according to a new report. Her law practice will be ruined over this.
Good riddance to Bloom.

What was reprehensible was that Lisa Bloom QUIT working for Harvey Weinstein when she couldn't take the heat. Even people accused of murder are entitled to attorneys. I don't begrudge Harvey Weinstein all the lawyers he wants to pay for, and I don't have an issue with Lisa Bloom's working for him. What made me sick was that she ran away when people criticized her. Digging up dirt on accusers is what good lawyers DO. Harvey Weinstein — who I happen to believe is a pig — has not been indicted of a crime, yet people are blithely calling him a “rapist” on the air. Weinstein may be a rapist, but there's a PROCESS for determining that. In fact, there are criminal and civil processes. As a political conservative, I suppose I could chuckle to see the downfall of someone so entrenched in the Elite that his “Mea Culpa” concluded with a pledge to fight the real enemies...Trump and the NRA. However, I am disturbed to see people who can't have any legitimate gripe against this person, and who must owe much of their careers to him — people such as Matt Damon — denounce him in public when he hasn't been tried for anything.
Anyway, if Lisa Bloom had any integrity, she either would have declined to represent Weinstein in the first place — without telling anyone she'd been offered the job — or she'd have stuck with him. To accept the gig, then bail on him makes her a coward and a Judas.

Now that we are getting to know the spawn, let’s go get the parent. Gloria Alfred probably makes her daughter like look a model of consistency.

Guess it’d be too much to hope that her mom, media whore Gloria AllRED, were also involved.

You raise an interesting point. In most cases when a lawyer fires a client it is because of non payment. Lawyers offer expert advise and likely legal outcomes. Seems to me to be rather unethical to fire a client because the case has become too hot to handle and could damage the lawyers reputation. It is possible she determined her client impossible to deal with, but I wouldn’t put much merit in that conclusion. Mr. Weinstein is still walking the streets.

Actually, Harvey would not have had a chance with a decent, self-respecting woman. He was just picking on low-hanging fruit, and there are a lot of them these days. I gag when these witches finally get in the last dig. Harvey was a slime, but his riches came from the willing women who submitted to him. Now they are trying to get some more publicity lines by whining. All trash.

You nailed it! Lisa Bloom dumped Weinstein because she was stunned by the blow-back; it had ZERO to do with money. Bloom's dumping Weinstein was unethical, although he has no recourse because he had not been charged with anything yet. I am appalled by Lisa Bloom. A person in distress retained her professionally; she accepted; she dumped him only because she didn't like being criticized. Bloom had no problem representing Weinstein; she just didn't want like it when anyone found out what he was being accused of. In other words, SHE had no problem with what he was being accused of...she just didn't want people to know that.

If Weinstein had been too difficult to deal with, Lisa Bloom would have been delighted to announce that. Instead, Bloom has admitted that she âmade a mistakeâ by agreeing to represent him in the first place, which is beyond lame for any attorney. MOST of the people lawyers represent in matters that are or could become criminal are in fact guilty of some bad behavior. For an attorney to back out of representing someone simply because the public will think less of that attorney is cowardly. What James Michael Hurley once said about politicians also applies to criminal attorneys: âAn honest politician is one who, once bought, stays bought.â I’d have grudging respect for Lisa Bloom if she had stayed bought.
