How the CIA 'found' Hitler alive in Colombia in 1954: Agency was told about man with a VERY familiar face who lived in an ex-SS community where he was called The Fuhrer and given Nazi salutes, declassified files show

• Declassified CIA report details claims about a man claiming to be Hitler living in Colombia in the 1950s
• Phillip Citroen, a former SS officer, told agents a man called Adolf Schuttlemayer was living in the town of Tunja, 85 miles north of Bogota, among a group of former Nazis in 1954
• Citroen said the men called Schuttlemayer The Fuhrer, gave him Nazi salutes and 'afforded him storm-trooper adulation'
• He even provided a photograph showing a man with a strong likeness of Hitler
• Citroen said Hitler left Colombia in January 1955 and moved to Argentina

No one believed this former SS guy until he said he had a photo of him with Hitler in 1955.

Haha! I wish I was.

This is disturbing to say at the very least.

This is the photo the former SS officer that was hiding our in South America took with Hitler. This was his proof that Hitler was alive when he was doubted. This was in Columbia, South America in 1955.

Have to admit it does look like him. Anyway it’s in the JFK report.

People may ask what does Hitler have to do with Kennedy? Think of the JFK files as the Anti-Communist files. The communst were suspected of killing Kennedy.

Thus, either the CIA/FBI that was reaching out to their Anti-Communist operatives in South America. Some of them were former Nazi Officers living in South America. They were wagining Anti-Communist war in South America the time, and were used. Although it is said they had to give up Adolf Eichmann.

Anyway this one former Nazi said Hitler was alive and no one believed him. He said he had of photo of them together in Columbia. Well there is the photo.

Highly doubtful. By the end of the war, Hitler was a physical wreck who looked much older than his years. He was also a drug addict. This guy looks like a younger Hitler, not an extrapolation of the 1945 Hitler.

I think the possibility of Hitler surviving is plausible.

I know for a fact that Heinrich Müller’s son was in Denver. He died about 10 years ago. Wife was involved with him at a professional level. The family came from Ireland to take him “home”. The 4th Reich is alive and well. They have money, and they expect some day to use it. The documents and WWII artifacts that the man had were absolute proof of his identity. His home was a museum of WWI and WWII. The identity of his family was not in doubt.

Photo looks exactly like Hitler.

To me the photo looks like an obvious fraud.

The man on the left is in front of a dark background the man on the right is in front of a light background. There is a nearly straight line dividing the two men.

This to me looks like an obvious crop and splice. Two separate photos were cut down the middle one with our CITROEN in front of a dark background the other an old picture of Hitler. This would be best done with negatives.

The spliced picture then would be photographed in darkroom creating a new negative.

With only a mimeographed copy of the photo to deal with it can not be said for certain. But considering the odd occurrence of the differences in background and the nearly straight line dividing the two figures, it is my strong opinion that the photo is fake.
