This is true. I’m 5’9 171, run about 6 miles a week, can still bench 250 (I’m 61) wear 34 jeans and I show as overweight. I weighed exactly that when I was on an athletic scholarship and college, but had a 29 in waist and could press 290. My weight varies between 169 and 173, anything over 169 is overweight. My healthcare at work checks body fat percentage and mine is 12%.

It doesn’t take into account whether you have shoulders, or a slight build. Just for a comparison, most of the NFL will be between overweight and obese.

Thinnest is altitude states

Massachusetts at #50? Altitude has nothing to do with that rating. We're an average of 400 feet above sea level. Now...Colorado is a different story at #51. Puerto Rico must have been included to make for 51 entries.

You poor thing.

We live where deer are. Neighbors kid hit one across the street. Not urban. Small town.

Within 2 miles of my house the restaurant choices we have:

2 Mexican
2 Italian
1 Japanese
2 Chinese
3 Sandwich shops
1 Vietnamese
6 Pizza
1 Steak
3 Donut
3 Greasy spoons
4 Bar food
2 Mc D’s
1 DQ
1 Taco Bell
1 BBQ Joint
1 Fried Chicken
1 Wendys
1 Tea Room (sandwiches for old ladies)
1 Deli
2 Gourmet Burger

I know I am missing some too.

If I go to 5 miles out it is literally hundreds of places.

Apparently we aren’t. Also keep in mind this is grading on a curve. There will always be a “fattest” the real question is how fat is it. You could have a very fit and trim country and the “fattest” city has like 5% of the people outside optimal.

Again, the left tries to make this a “Southern” thing, ignoring the fact that Mississippi is also highest in the number of black people. Blacks have a much higher rate of obesity than other ethnic groups.

Live in barn - cabin in middle of state forest. We have everything Brown County has without the hoards of people. Deer, Turkey , eagles even a cougar. Two neighbor survive by living off the land.

Sounds very nice. Winter must be a bear. Being in a forest have you considered planting ginseng?

Big bucks for almost no effort. American ginseng is highly prized by orientals.

Do your research on where to plant.

How to cure the obesity epidemic:

One meal a day.

No carbs.

One gram of protein for each lb. of bodyweight.

Rest of calories from fat—fish oil, cocoanut oil, butter, olive oil.

Does Kroger have the tenderloins all breaded and ready? Or do you pound it out and bread it yourself? Fry or bake?

You are in Brown County, IN? We would vacation there when I was a child, at state park.

They do but I prefer to pound it out myself. They just run it through the cuber and dip it in crumbs. My preference is flour/egg wash/panko. Mine are vastly superior. I fry them. Decided I am going to serve them as schnitzel. Had some spaetzel left over in a bag. Also have some left over really good quality kraut. Picked up the meat an apple a lemon flat parsley and a side salad. Have ementaler and juniper berries. Will be a very authentic German dinner.
