Im from Green Bay; my high school colors were green & gold and I am part owner of the Green Bay Packers from when they sold stock after the 1997 Super Bowl victory. So, it took quite a bit to get me to boycott the NFL, but they managed it. Until the owners require their players to stand for the national anthem, or sit for the game, I wont watch a minute, and Im not alone.
Since Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the anthem in a misguided protest against police violence, the NFL has been hemorrhaging fans. Both TV viewership and attendance at stadiums are well down and once people find other ways to spend their Sundays, they may not come back.
Let there be no doubt, the NFL is a business and the owners of those billion dollar plus franchises have a problem. A bunch of their players want to play social justice games, but their core audience, the folks who pay the bills, just want them to play football. And we really dont like the disrespect shown to the anthem, the flag and those who fought for our country including those who came home in coffins with that flag draped over them.

I took a knee in protest against the MFL and then I changed the channel from the Denver Donkeys game and have only watched college football since then.
Nah the owners nor players get it yet...but they will eventually...well the players may never get it....
Goodell is a huge problem, but compare the progressivism of the NFL to when Joe Lockhart came on board - he has assisted with the suicide and the message.
NFL out of the USA!
>I took a knee in protest against the MFL and then I changed the channel from the Denver Donkeys game and have only watched college football since then.
You’re not alone. Libs like to lie that the NFL ratings go down isn’t due to the protests, but college football watching numbers are way up.
This guy nailed it. I have BLED Green & Gold since I was a kid, but I’ve not been watching, either.
Karma kicked Aaron Rodger’s @ss, too. Broke his collar bone on his throwing arm. He’s pretty much done for the season.
I’ve ALWAYS watched/attended High School and College sports of all kinds and after today, our UW Madison Badgers are 11-0! They just beat Michigan, which is HUGE! ‘YUGE,’ I say!
I’m not missing the NFL...at all. :)
“I changed the channel from the Denver Donkeys game...”
I was down to only watching Broncos games 4 years ago. I stopped watching completely after they won the Super Bowl. Game has become a bore. I hear it isn’t hard to turn them off this season.
I can’t believe they think that the masses are so ignorant to not know that their kneeling during the Anthem is a protest against this country and veterans. It is MEANT to be provocative otherwise they’d take a knee at halftime.

I think not, and why would they, the TV revenue and NFL fan gear is colossal, why should they care?
Just wait until the networks — who have till now been cheering this cr@p on — turn around and cut the price they are willing to pay to telecast the games. The owners’ collective necks will snap from the whiplash.
when their chisel da nisel money dries up they will know
They work (play) for the NATIONAL Football League.
What nation is that for whom they work/play?
How complicated is it to see that they should STAND for the National Anthem of the United States?
That's the crux of the matter - it's something a lot worse than a boycott if people find better ways to spend their weekends and don't come back at all. After 50 years of careful construction the NFL had attained the status of an American tradition, and when that was brought into conflict with a much deeper American tradition, something had to give, and it's pretty obvious what that was. The damage, though, is not yet really visible, it's structural, and when season ticket holders, some of whom have had those in their families for generations, don't renew, and advertisers cut contracts because the viewership has shrunk, there isn't much to stop the slide. Turning halftime and game openings into quasi-military pander-fests isn't fooling anyone and is so obviously phony it's causing more harm than good. And that's about all they're willing to try.
It's already too late for a John Madden-esque Thanksgiving extravaganza media blitz with the multi-legged turkeys and such. That makes this coming Superbowl hugely important in terms of tradition as well as ratings. Anti-flag and anti-anthem protests at that would put the last nail in the coffin.
Done with the NFL....not coming back, ever.
They made a bad choice

The Left doesn't like football and the "deplorables" who support it, so they are methodically destroying the game right in front of everybody's eyes.
As soon as I heard that Joe Lockhart had been hired by the NFL for PR or something like that, I knew the Left had their tentacles inside the body and would gut it dry.
It's the ole' drip, drip, drip routine. First, it's one drip, Colin K., the more and more drips, until there a bunch of drips (a.k.a players) involved in protesting during the national anthem.
Now Goodall and the league are saying this is the new normal.
If this is the new normal, then eventually their cash cow will dry up and she won't milk anymore.
The Left will destroy NFL football one drip at a time and then they will go after college football. And high school.
The Left doesn't like the traditional pastimes of the Right. If they don't like it, then no one can. Typical Left.
The college game is much better, anyway.
The LEFT Destroy Everything they touch....the Govt., Public Schools, Unions, Hollywood, Cities, DISNEY, and WOMEN even!
