In a steam-powered rocket.
He should just install pedals.
To: MtnClimber
Both he and the earth will be flat when he crashed back into it. Perhaps, in death, he will be right for the first and last time in his life.
News headline: Giant spatula needed in California desert. Flat-Earth believer flattened by flat ground when he crashed onto it.
Second lead (lede) story: “Francisco Franco and Helen Thomas are still dead”.
To: ZOOKER
Your eyeballs are curved, so that makes the flat earth look curved.

Hasn’t this bozo ever flown in an airliner, say at 35,000 feet?

He can’t be serious. Do the math. Even if he somehow achieves 500 mph, he would coast much higher than 1800 ft. That doesn’t account for time and distance (vertical) for acceleration. He’s a fool with unrealistic expectations, and almost certainly doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Just think, people get in a limo with this guy and let him drive them around. In traffic.

Just think, people are driving down the road and this guy could be coming the other way.

This is a picture of the Earth's shadow cast into the sky during a sunset. It's called the "Belt of Venus" and clearly shows the curvature. If that is not good enough for this fellow perhaps he can explain the different times around the world that the sun sets.

This reminds me of nothing so much as the “directions” Mad Magazine published many years ago on how to assemble a rocket to go into orbit, built with, among other things, scavenged vacuum cleaners...
It was almost as funny as their parody on chess: “Notice that the player on the left has been dead for 2 years.”

I think I recalled that incorrectly - I think it was the full size “Mad” airliner that had vacuum cleaners as engines. I don’t remember what powered the rocket...
