My understanding of how this cascading collapse of liberalism as the moral high ground started with Hillary’s constant attacks on Donald Trump. An actress was so upset by what had “happened” to Hillary (who had her space invaded during the debates)* that she wanted to show her support by relating her own experiences with Harvey Weinstein. Then, all these B-listers** came out to show their support by outing their tormenters...who all turned out to be liberals...about as far from Donald J. Trump as a man can get.
*Somebody put together a YouTube video showing how it was Hillary who repeatedly got into DJT’s space and not the other way around. I couldn’t find that one but I did find this on DJT’s response to the accusation.

**B-listers don’t have anything at stake. They have already been knocked out of the running for stardom; either because they didn’t respond to the sexual requests or because they did and the movie role didn’t work out. The A-listers played the game and won. They have power and prestige which would be diminished if people knew they had to have sex to get their big chance.
I wonder if EVERY Hollywood starlet didn’t get in the front door by way of the casting couch. I used to think it was luck then it took talent to stay on top. Now I’m starting to believe they made their own luck.
I’ve always wondered how Streep made it. I’d be willing to bet she slept her way to the top.
