Huh.

I bought my minivan...because my cousin sold it to me for half what it was worth. “If that’s what they’ll give me for trade-in, I’ll get it from family.”

It sure ain’t a Silverado, and may not be thought particularly Manly, as if I give a crap.

My wife bought her little Saturn wagon...because it was the best car she could find at her price point. She’d like a Subaru Lesbomobile...because the look nice to her and have AWD. Maybe someday...but I doubt she’ll be licking carpet any time thereafter.

Maybe the point is that we particular conservatives bought on economics, not poly-ticks.

Volkswagens and Aston Martins were associated with white neighborhoods while Chryslers, Buicks and Oldsmobiles tended to appear in African-American neighborhoods, the study found.

Aston Martins?

I don't think I've ever seen one of those outside of the movies.

BMWs maybe, but Aston Martins?

Not a universal rule. Vermont is chock full of liberals and pickup trucks.

Too funny. We own, and drive alternately two old SAABs, and a newer Volvo just to screw up pollsters.

The old ‘89 Ford pick em up truck parked in the wayback behind the corrals gets to run for feed ‘bout twice a month, so nobody sees it.

I drive an Audi. I voted for Trump. My next door neighbor drives an Acura. He voted for Trump. My other next door neighbor drives a Subaru. He voted for Trump. This study is BS!

We own 2 Subarus and a K2500 4X4. What does that mean?

It means it f***ing snows where we live and we don’t buy throwaway American crapcars that don’t offer AWD and 300,000 mile reliability. That’s all it means.

2016 BMW X3 - a great small SUV. I must have voted for Hitler.

I will not buy a car made by Ford or GM, but I am quite happy to buy cars made by foreign manufacturers in the USA. It’s not the workers, its the unions and the management.

I drive an F150 and a Volvo XC70. This will confuse them mightily!

I’m all conservative all the time, especially when driving the Volvo — it’s a fast car and damned useful and cops don’t go looking for it. The truck, well, I love the modern Model T — best damned car ever made.

Oh brother, wonder what this so-called research cost me.....

I drive an old beat-up sedan because it runs great and is currently only costing me gas and routine maintenance to keep on the road. I’d love to have a truck, but they are priced beyond my means.

I drive a 2015 Red Dodge Challenger with “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates. Wonder who I Voted for? Hmmmm...

Unfortunately I live in CA and even the area I live in (Orange County) went for the Democrat for the first time ever.
