It's the largest country in the world, and these bizarre new snaps reveal some of Russia's stranger goings on.

People from all over the country have spotted the weirdest things they've seen in Russia in a hilarious online gallery.

Some of them chill me because they're stories of animal cruelty, so I keep my own link list of stories that are strange, bizarre and fun that I made for the New Zealand professor I work with, to save him the time of scanning the page every day.

The picture of the orthodox priest swinging the girl around by her arm and leg is not unusual. I remember that game from when I was young. We used to call it flying and we loved it.

Don’t think anyone ever did that to me. I remember my brother holding me over a hole to the basement in a house under construction and being totally TERRIFIED. I don’t do rollercoasters either, which is probably the same thing.
