I’ve got Windows 10 at my work. It sucks. How bad does it suck? It draws vacuum.

Several of those pre-date Win10.

I have used virtual desktops since Win3.0.

I use as few Win 10 features as I possibly can, thanks to Classic Shell. Don’t need any of that crap.

How about searching contents of PDF files? Win7 does it by default. Win10 won’t even do it when you set it in the folder settings. Win10 sucks.

Malware removal just means they put in an antimalware app, so you dont have to use McAfee or Kaspersky or Norton.

Its not as useful in a large environment as McAfee for one thing (way less sophisticated for enterprise use), but it does work.

The Remote Assistance thingy is a two-edged sword. I’ve used it and it works like a champ. The problem is that the person asking you for assistance realizes that, and well...yeah. You’re a permanent HellDesk.

Do any of those things let the user remove Outlook, Cortana, Onedrive?

Just finished installing the latest update. That is a large puppy. It takes a long time, with three reboots.

I’ll tell you what would be a nice feature. It is actually an old feature that was taken away in windows 10. And that is to have windows actually shut down when you ask it too. Even with the options set for windows to shut down when you click the power button... It still goes into sleep or hibernate mode(every since the creators update). This can cause certain problems. Especially if you remove power from the computer.

Many of those features are also available on Win. 7 and XP.

Windows 10 sucks rocks. Cute toy for kids who don’t care about being productive. But to actually accomplish something it’s annoying. And don’t get me started on Office Suite 360, 2016, or even 2007 and their ridiculous ribbon menus.

Windows finally got virtual desktops? I’ve had those with Linux for ages. I normally run 8. Might have to look at this.

If I’d realized you posted this I would have linked to it in answer to your other question. This is why you need to learn the new UI.

Windows 10 seems to have embedded Adobe Reader functionality, which keeps getting in the way of the Adobe Acrobat Professional I licensed. Infuriating.

I had a meeting with Microsoft this week. They told us Windows 10 is the last version of Windows desktop as a product. They will release updates twice a year going forward much like Apple does for OS X. Windows desktop is now a service.
