I will donate $100 to a recount fund if Roy Moore will explain why Donald Trump got 1.3 million votes in Alabama one year ago, while he could only get 650 000.

92% of Hillary voters voted for Jones. 48% of Trump voters voted for Moore.

With data like that, I’d be embarrassed to count them again.

Integrity, once lost, is a difficult thing to recover, if it ever can be. Judge Roy Moore did not, in the end, go big enough, and essentially was told to go home, though he contests the outcome as it was drawn on Election Day, December 12th.

Maybe there was vote fraud in many of the “blue” counties in Alabama (and there are a number of rather populous areas that ARE “blue”), or maybe it was just failure of voter turnout, too many for the other side, and not enough for Moore’s campaign.

Retire to your place of refuge, lick your wounds, consider the lapses, try to reason how they may be avoided, and in the next fight, try not to repeat the campaign you just lost.

You cannot step into the same stream twice. If nothing else, the water shall still have changed.

Falsely calling him a child rapist cost him hundreds of thousands of votes. Just as the Deep State planned.

A candidate from Alabama who traveled to Philadelphia to watch a stupid football game on the weekend before the biggest election of his life couldn’t get a penny out of me at gunpoint right now.

This.

One kind of wonders if he was more interested in looking the cowboy than cowboying up.

When I saw the video of him riding the horse on election day I thought the same thing. It was very obvious he has spent very little time on a horse.

I don’t know about costing him ‘hundreds of thousands’ but it certainly cost him some. Had
he spent the last 10 days of the campaign on the road around the state visiting with the
voters in the small towns, etc then I suspect he could have won. But to go silent the last
part of the campaign is foolish.

definite parallels. akin, mourdock, angle, and o’donnell. all of them snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I am not in Alabama and viewed it as a red red state. I thought Alabamans would elect a pile of moldy straw before they would put a pro-abortion, anti-2nd amendment Clintonoid in office. I did each on YouTube the Moore-Hannity interview it was Adkins-esque! I just assumed in spite of such a poor performance Moore would at least squeak by. He didn’t! Now we all must suffer the consequences! And I only saw today that he went off to the Army-Navy game instead of campaigning ! Arrogance and political incompetence all rolled into one package!

If no such libelous and vile accusation had been made, his margin of victory would’ve been by 10-20%. The fix was in from the moment it happened.

honestly, the more he stayed off the campaign trail and kept his mouth shut, the better chance he had. you could probably say the same thing about the little bastard that won.

I agree he would have won had the charges not been made. But
I still he could have won had he got out on the campaign trail
and made himself visible to the voters. We’ll never know but
Moore turned out to be a lousy candidate by not giving it his
all in the last 10 days. JMO.

Then Moore should be suing, not recounting.

.
Moore won the legitimate election.

Fraudulent votots crossing state lines in mass have overwhelmed the election.

This is typical in special elections, but doesn’t happen so much in general elections.

I disagree he was a lousy candidate. There was no amount of campaigning he could’ve done to overcome what was done to him.
