You’re probably right. It’s a domestic violence thing, so burglary, as usually conceived, would not be likely.
I watch Live PD each weekend and just learned that if you are given a trespass order and return to that establishment, you are charged with burglary - even if you don’t steal something, that is the charge. So this makes me wonder if he had been given some sort of order not to contact his ex-wife/girlfriend and that resulted in the burglary charge?
