FDA: Nasal Spray Can Cause Loss Of Smell

[Was there a single successful lawsuit against Zicam — especially prior to this witch hunt? Just curious.]
True as in and innovative business, they found ways around the road blocks put in their way. But, none has been as effective as the original product.
Obama punished Zicam for being a Rush Limbaugh sponser. Obviously partizan. Trump should vindicate ZICAM and get the Feds off their back. Just a disclaimer: ‘Might hurt your sense of smell.’ [Not that it does. It improved my sense of smell.]
I take the tablets....
Thank you for your input!
ZICAM did have an awsome product, and Obama punished them for being a Rush sponser. Rush personally used the original Zicam. I did too. I’ve been trying to mash zinc tablats and soak them in water. Just not quite the same.
Did you ever try the original Zicam product? It was amazing.
Yea, I have a bottle that I just took several weeks ago for a cold.......
I’ll have to remember about getting some. Never used it.
You can’t get the original Zicam. Obama banned it. And it was ten times better.
Zicam and Sambucol...everything else can be thrown out.
keep immunity up with zinc and other important stuff (nutrient, sleep, water etc) and don’t get sick in first place.
I used to take Zicam when a cold was coming on.
Then I read several reports that the zinc compound in it damages your taste buds. I didn’t believe it at first until I noticed that foods were becoming bland.
It took about 6 months before my sense of taste came back.
I suppose I was lucky, because the reports said that it could be permanent.
Failing it being available . . . we used the NEIL MED saline wash in the squeeze bottle.
Then we went to the colloidal silver available from
The potency of their silver, per our research, far outstrips almost far outstrips all others. One other is slightly in the same ballpark but still significantly below this brand--in our experience. Both these top two come in 200ppm.
We haven't checked about for the general public but a much more potent concentration ppm may be available. That allows significant dilution down to 200ppm.
But we think it would be great to have Zicam back. Housmate's nose has been hypersensitive all his life and he still has a good sense of smell even after using a fair amount of Zicam when it was available.
I take the tablets....
The tablets work for me if I feel a cold coming on. I’ve also drastically reduced the number of colds by taking a daily dose of vitamin D.
I take the tablets at the first sign of a cold coming on. They’re excellent.
I had the exact same experience, only I totally lost my sense of smell for about 3-4 weeks. Totally. I found it frightening, since we cook/supplemental heat w/propane and use it in our business. Food had no taste and I’d lost the ability to know if it was spoiled. No sense of smell was disorienting.
The Zicam cured my cold in a day, but the price wasn’t worth it.
The original Zicam was the best! In a way, I think it might be the reason my mom is 93 now. She went through a period of extremely compromised immunity several years ago. When we traveled with her during cold season we dosed her with Zicam and she was safe.
This is one “regulation” I’d love to see PDJT nix.
Of course I don't blame Obama as much as the squishy inept bumbling George W. Bush who paved the yellow brick road for Obama in the first place.
What are the “the tablets” you mentioned? Do you mean Airborne, or is there a Zicom tablet still on the market?
