I was 17, less than half my current age, last time they made it. Of course, that was also the Music City Miracle game.

Ravens lose and are OUT. I'm glad - they would have been destroyed in the playoffs. Poor clock management at the end of the game, could not hold on to the ball throughout the game, and where the hell was the defense when the game was on the line? Bad enough they let the Bengals convert on fourth-and-twelve, but then they can't tackle either. The hell with 'em!

BTW,

Not much mention that it was a 4-way tie in AFC.

Buff v. Balt goes down to SOV

Bills win SOV handily.

They beat Falcs & Chiefs.
Balt beat Browns twice

Titans and Bills punch their playoff tickets, along with the Falcons.

Bills last made it in 1999, the movie "Any Given Sunday" was out.

The Ravens are out, they really shouldn't have lost to the Bears a few weeks ago. ;d

A good week for No One, who goes 3-2.

I get a Minority Report Award for the Niner win (rolling!) and Kos gets one for the Cards upset over the Seahawks.

Bendy, Pete and L'towm win the hard to predict week, Pete, check my math.

See you for the wildcard weekend thread, where I'll crown our regular season picks champ or champs, since some players came late we'll do total wins and percentage.

Seahawks upset, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyway with the Falcons winning.

Chiefs 2nd team took care of business in Denver.

Both games decided by a FG in the final seconds.

Chiefs tried hard to give that one away.

Happy New Year all!

I’ll be pulling for my Old Dallas Texans to catch on fire and pull through right to the Super Bowl yet I fear they may have their hands more than full with either the Pattycheateres or Stoolers, yet you’ve got to have the faith to believe—

So, that is my story and I’m sticking to it.

I don’t see the Iggles going far without Carson, much to my delight. While I have never been a Viqueens fan at all, I do like Mike Zimmer and if he leads the woebegone Hornheads to their very first, oh so elusive Super Bowl victory, it could be a lot worse—

I could also live the the LA Ewes, Ain’ts, Falcons, Allegra’s Old Earlers, the Jags or even the Bills winning the whole shebang. But not Cam’s Craybabies.

They go into the #”Oh, No, Never” file with the Iggles, Big’s Pattycakes and them Godless Stoolers.

Oh, well— What ever comes, comes. And since My Boys are out of it, I’ll just have to suffer through and hope for the best.

From the NFC I like the Saints. Brees has the experience and the balanced offense now too. Would have said the Eagles three weeks ago, but they are not the same team without Wentz.

As for the AFC... can anyone beat the Steelers or Patriots? When both have a week off to heal and prepare.... The Bills? Titans? Inconsistent Chiefs? Unpredictable Jaguars? We shall see. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I’m still wating for Campaignpete R-CT’s concession post and I’ll make my victory post...assuming he doesn’t request a recount
