Eat meat, even fatty meat. Bacon, eggs...hell, have a little ice cream on the weekend. Eat vegetables as well. Exercise or do physical work ever day. Go for a walk at least. Every day.

There's your diet.

The human body will ALWAYS consume fat first. It does not metabolize the body’e muscle until all the fat is gone.

Just what we need, another poster trying to inject FACT into an emotional argument./s

>>I bet they wouldn’t be dead had they not run the marathon, therefore MARATHONS KILL, according to your “logic.”

Please tell the class what role consuming water only would play in the electrolyte imbalance observable in cases of hyponatremia.

We’ll wait.

“fat burns in a carbohydrate flame”

https://www.google.com/#q=fat+burns+in+a+carbohydrate+flame

What does this mean and where do those “carbs” come from in the context of starvation?

These clowns were binging on large quantities of water. That’s not a water fast. Period. Do you comprehend the English language?

When you eat nothing you burn about five pounds of fat a week.

One morbidly obese guy fasted for over a year.

No “binging” require loud mouth.

So you’re saying these clowns drank normal quantities of water?

Lie much?

If you drink normal quantities of water your electrolytes will stay in balance naturally during moderate fasts of ten days or under.

Longer fasts require a doctors supervision and regular blood tests.

I have never done more than ten days and have no desire to do so. I now fast three consecutive days every week to boost my stem cell production.

“One morbidly obese guy fasted for over a year.”

Good article, thanks. Pretty much puts to bed that people die from water-only fasting.

Don’t know what planet this ‘nutritionist’ is from, but he really needs a bit of education before he speaks again on the subject.

By the way, the 5 lbs/week weight loss is exactly what I register too.

I did this a few months ago for 72 hours - water, bone meal, black coffee. I think one thing I definitely felt is that my body became stronger and my liver detoxed.

Oxaloacetate is required to oxidize fat in the TCA cycle.

Please tell the class what the source of oxaloacetate is in the context of starvation.

And what is REALLY SAD about these articles is that a lot of people never even attempt the type of diet that would allow them to see their grandchildren grow up - because they’re lead to believe it will kill them.

Very sad for them, and their families/.

You sound like one of those “the science is settled” “experts.” How much student-loan debt did you bury yourself under to get your worthless “nutrition” degree, perfesser?

Please tell us that this guy really died. We’re waiting.

>>So according to you, this guy is dead?

How much lead body mass was catabolized in Mr. Morbidly Obese’s transformation?

Just because your anecdotal “evidence” doesn’t bother to document that - doesn’t unexist the FACTS regarding what’s required to drive the chemical processes in the TCA cycle.

That would be John the Baptist your thinking of.
Jesus ate nothing in the desert on his fast for 40 days. It helps to be God.

Evidently this guy produced all the oxaloacetate he needed.

Just because you memorized a bunch of carp your perfessers told you doesn't mean you know anything.

How's that student loan debt feeling? Chafing your shoulders a bit?
