Thats okay - the PAC 12 makes up for it by having the absolute worst officials in football.
“Darnold needs another year or two to mature, so Im glad hes not going to the draft.
He also needs a good offensive line in front of him so he isn’t always running for his life.
I hope he stays at USC for his senior year”
He is a red shirt Sophomore, he definitely won’t be around for his Senior year.
non CFP Bowl Games = College football’s NIT.
He doesn't want to play for Cleveland, that's for sure.
The Pac-12 will be back, maybe as soon as next year. The ball bounces funny when it's not even a round ball.
He’s going to find himself being asked some very frank questions in the combine over that decision.
False analogy,
Besides, Rhett was dismissed from the team when his transgressions were discovered by Stoops. USC played on.
You realized that there was no Champion that year? USC really screwed everyone. Sounds more like something Hillary and Obama would do.
Sc didnt cheat. Lol. They just bought his parents a house and the coach said he didnt know where he lived
“Until they have a Championship of Champions it is nothing but an ESPN beauty contest.”
Well said. I watched my team win its bowl but have no interest in another rigged `championship’ series.
There’s no reason why they can’t have bowls and a real college football championship playoff.
The article points out that 3/4 of the Pac 10 conference went to bowls.
But they thought we weren’t series about the National Felon League either, so ....
indeed the best way for an nfl team to hire a college coach is wait for them to be under investigation
Get used to it, because you're going to see it happening more and more. Nobody cares about these non CFP bowl games.
Amen ! !
Yeah!
They will do whatever the owners want, maybe even bjs.
Considering how many national titles over the past 10 years the SEC has won I doubt very seriously “they” had to stack any deck for an SEC team to have a chance at winning.
I’m watching on bended knee.
Your comment might carry weight if ESPN had anything to do with the College Football Playoff selection committee.
SC didnt do anything to anybody, and when Todd McNairs lawyers are done with the NCAA, the conspiracy to hose the Trojans will be understood. The corruption of Reggie Bushs family was unknown to USC, but Paul Dee and his crew lied to shaft McNair and USC. Unlike numerous cheating scandals that were done by university staff, including the decades-long academic scandal at UNC involving 1500 players, the cheating scandal at Florida State involving 61 athletes, recruiting and drug testing violations at Olkahoma State, strippers and hookers at recuiting parties at Louisville, Chip Kelly paying $20,000 to get recruits at Oregon, Barry Switzer handing out cash to recruits at Oklahoma, Johnny Football getting paid for autographs at Texas A& M, and Jim Tressel lying about knowledge of players selling memorabilia.
When are those bitches going to be coming home to roost?
Hey, are you grabbing your crotch when you post, or is that just a Mayfield thing?
So why don’t you hold out the entire starting lineup who could risk injury and 6 figure incomes?
