Why bring up Lyn’ Ted? He’s dead, had and wasted his 15 minutes, no one likes him, he’s not even eligible to be president, and if someone credible were to challenge him, I’m sure most Texans would dump the him without hesitation. He, Rubio, Warren, Bush 3rd, Clinton, Beck, Levin, and all are history. Let it go.

Nikki Haley and Ted Cruz do not qualify for POTUS. Besides, Nikki Haley made a mess as governor, and Cruz turned out to be extremely weird.
Haley, like Lyn’ Ted, Little Rubio, and others are NOT natural born citizens and will NEVER be president. And Ivanka?! Might be eligible but we don’t need her kind of politics!
This guy O’Rourke of El Paso is a committed liberal who could yet forge a majority in TX in the campaign to unseat Cruz.

I voted for Cruz. Then he blamed Trump for the assaults at the rally in San Jose. Those assaults were done by antifa types. Cruz lost me then.
Yes I agree fully. Some people get obsessed with certain things for whatever reason and can’t move on. As they say in the south — bless their heart. :-)

Cruz made mistakes. Name anyone more consistently conservative in the Senate? Anyone else ever get on record on the senate floor calling out the majority leader from his own party a liar?

What is the point of this? You can go through and find everything I said at the time as well...I believed every word of it. Turns out President Trump did follow through and his sudden conversions on a host of issues were in fact genuine - or at least he is keeping his word to do what he said he was going to do in exchange for the votes...more so than many other politicians. He is appointing excellent judges...that alone makes him worth having him there and not Hillary as that will last decades.
Cruz personally had a bitter issue with Trump saying things like accusing his father of being involved in assassinating President Kennedy - that was over the top.
But in any event, why are we trying to reopen old wounds like this at this point in time? There have been major victories accomplished. Let’s keep moving forward and not look back at this stuff.
