Schumer owns this. The IRS for one will still be working. And, they will be working on authorized overtime now to make up time for getting taxes in. Schumer, Lewis and Cummings specifically are behind all of this. The liberals (both sides) want all of these immigrants here to pay taxes AND to vote to keep the liberals in power while they take advantage of them.
The liberal power-mongers are desperate. Without their victim and illegal voting base they are in big trouble. It is all that matters to them. It would be sweet justice to see illegals and other professional welfare recipients standing in line for welfare checks that might not be there.
What better way to repatriate them to Mexico and elsewhere?

I am still working and get to see lots of DACA “kids.” The last one was being extradited to another state for murder (MS-13).

I would suggest that we write to the Whitehouse and give him all the support that we can. As well we need to be praying for his success, regardless if one is of a prayerful sort, or not.

These shutdowns actually aren’t as bad as the long CRs which delay any efforts to restrain or reprioritize spending. The democrats won’t help with any spending bill because they know departments they like are going to get cut and money sent to ones they hate (build the wall).
The worst part of a shutdown is not getting your tax refund on time and federal employees that are sent home get back pay for a vacation. Essential employees work for delayed pay and have their leave cancelled.
