Hot people are more likely to support right-wing parties because they are stronger and more successful than their more liberal peers, apparently.
That's according to a study carried out by Rolfe Daus Peterson, a political scholar from Susquehanna University and Carl Palmar, assistant professor in politics at Illinois State University.
The researchers claim that never before has the effects of physical attractiveness on politics been examined on this level and that there is "good reason to believe that individuals’ physical attractiveness may alter their political values and worldviews".

Must be something to it. I noticed both male and female ILLINOIS STATE LEGISLATORS have glamour shots on their profile pages. They didn’t look like that before. LOL
My lib sister who has had (self-made) drama all her life has always thought that I’ve never had any problems and have lived some kind of fairytale life.
I just keep my problems to myself and learn from my mistakes if I can.
I think a huge difference between Libs and conservatives is owning your mistakes instead of blaming others and not expecting to be rescued.

OTHO, my Mrs. was a very average looking girl and today, she is one of the hottest looking 60 something ladies around. Lots of my friends comment on her beauty and I work hard to hold my tongue from saying "she looks even better nekkid!"
There is something about the conservative philosophy of decency and personal responsibility that makes you grow beautiful. Heck, I even find myself getting hit on by women my age when my wife is not with me. And, as I said, I am very average looking except being slightly taller (6'2") and having a full head of hair. My wife is kind and says it is my looks, but it would have happened years ago if her theory is right. I tell her it is only because the odds are starting to skew in my favor.

It's amazing, isn't it? I never got hit on by women till I was married. The wedding ring is supposed to be a deterrent, but I've discovered that it's actually a chick magnet.
That said, my wife doesn't have anything to worry about; I wasn't exactly a smooth-talker before I met her, and nothing's really changed. Women flirting with me is usually met with a befuddled stare and a "Huh? What are you talking about?"
