I'm skeptical here. I think that to be seeing wobbles from an object several billion light years away could be from vibrations in subspace and not from any actual planets. /Sarc off

In other words these 2,000 planet sized bodies are NOT orbiting stars. The are traveling freely in their galaxy. Are there similar planets and in the same quantity in out galaxy? Planet X anyone?

For the Bazzilionth time Scientists have discovered more uninhabitable unbound unplanets zooming around in the far reaches of, you guessed it, SPACE.

Am I correct in guessing that the planets in question have to be orbiting in the plane of the ecliptic of their suns/stars in relation to Earth? That’s the only way they would cross in front of the star as we view it. Which means that there are probably lots of them we can’t spot because the angle is wrong.
