See above. Scalia offed in February. Tarmac meeting in June. Clinton cleared in July.
If Scalia was killed to make room for Lowretta, it was advance planning.

Also Merrick Garland was the nominee from March until Obama’s tenure expired. Perhaps he was just a placeholder for Lynch all along.
If Clinton had won, FBI files would probably have come to play on enough senators to get Lynch in.
