Many companies may not ban it, but workers still have plenty of reason to avoid an office romance like the plague.
One in three romantic office relationships will end in at least one person being fired, according to a survey of 150 human resources executives conducted by hiring firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas. Things arent necessarily better for those who dont get fired. The survey found that 17 percent of employers chose to move at least one employee to a different department, and 5 percent of these affairs led to litigation.

Then there’s the other 2 thirds. The wife and I started as an office romance, getting on 28 years later best thing I ever did at work was say yes to her.
"Was that wrong?"
Agree. We have been blessed in many ways.
NEVER store your meat where you make your bread. NEVER.
Actor Scott Baio vs 40 years ago actress girlfriend Nicole Eggert now charging him with assault even though she was sleeping with the guy and worked with him on his tv show 10 years ago.
He is a successful actor and she is now 3 times bigger in weight and running a lunch wagon in valley.
Jealousy rears it’s head.
......”Office romance is Russian roulette where half the chambers are loaded. Just say no”.....
Should be a rule of thump .I was told this from day one in the business world. I might also add there’s far too any women who don’t or this wouldn’t be happening.
I’ve run into countless Representatives sleeping with decision makers just to get contracts.......they’re a dime a dozen! These gals don’t realize everyone knows and the guys do brag about their latest office fling. It’s never “private”.
One of the major college Christian groups was called the "Navigators" and the nickname acquired was the "NeverDaters" because the leadership forbid any activities where men and women could be alone together. Dating was seriously frowned upon.
One of the ladies in our co-ed group joked that Navigator women used to envy the garbage because at least the garbage was taken out once a week.
While I thought their stance was too rigid, I found that I couldn't have my mind on Christ and my mind on girls at the same time. So you'd *think* church was a great place for women to find good guys but the girls would rather grab some guy they liked and convert them later.
Throw in that the non-churched girls constantly turned up their noses at guys who were "too good" and you have a lot of guys like me who never even got their love lives in gear until after 30.
