A 2009 Pew Research Center survey shows that 18 percent of American adults say they have seen or been in the presence of a ghost. Almost one in three (29 percent) said they have felt in touch with someone who has already died.So with 45 First Ladies, 18% is about 8 who, statistically speaking, might really believe in ghosts.
Given that, I'm not the least surprised that a few have held seances or whatever. Astrology is even more common.
