President Obama's role during the Israeli elections was larger than reported, according to a pollster for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party.
"What was not well reported in the American media is that President Obama and his allies were playing in the election to defeat Prime Minister Netanyahu," John McLaughlin, a Republican strategist, said in an interview on John Catsimatidis's "The Cats Roundtable" radio show broadcast Sunday on AM 970 in New York. "There was money moving that included taxpayer U.S. dollars, through non-profit organizations. And there were various liberal groups in the United States that were raising millions to fund a campaign called V15 against Prime Minister Netanyahu," McLaughlin said.
He noted an effort to oust Netanyahu was guided by former Obama political operative Jeremy Bird and that V15, or Victory 15, ads hurt Netanyahu in the polls. McLaughlin said the Israeli leader rebounded after delivering a speech to Congress early this month, prompting more critical ads.
V15 was viewed as part of a broader campaign to oust Netanyahu. The group was linked to Washington-based nonprofit OneVoice Movement, which reportedly received $350,000 in State Department grants.

So, bammy gets a free pass for meddling, and not a word in the f*cking media, while the media never let up trying to connect Trump and Russian meddling not even for one minute.
Would that not be odd... Deporting a former President to Israel to face charges of interfering with their election? I know it would be awesome if that were to occur and expose the hypocrisy of Democrats and their friends in the intelligence community singling out the Russians for election interference over the many countries that attempt to influence American elections.
Or imagine deporting all the former presidents and Democrat and Republican party officials who attempted to influence elections in other countries?
This whole episode of investigating the Trump campaign really has turned into a complete failure.
The real point of the flashback is that THIS activity has never been a big deal before. We did it. They did it. Soros does it (he is a FAR worse offender than Russia and spends much more money doing this). Israel does it. England does it. Germany does it. China has started down this road.
What was offensive to most of us when this story broke a few years ago was that our tax dollars were being used (clandestinely by the way) to undermine a politician in Israel that many of us supported and viewed as a strong ally.
I am not a fan of any meddling in an election, but in this day and age of lobbying it happens in every election.
The real take-away for me is that they needed an excuse to rationalize her loss and cripple him. Voila! Russia, Russia, Russia! No different than what happened by them in 2015...... by the way - run the numbers. A couple of million by them in an election costing over a billion vs 350k in an election costing a sliver of a billion bucks. Hmmmmm

In general and throughout the Cold War especially, the CIA routinely did things to affect elections the way we wanted them to go in elections. I am sure this is right and here is a compost article (maybe not the best source) that talks about it.
