For the mega-rich, clearly, a regular plastic grocery bag is too drab. Céline, a France-based luxury clothing brand, unveiled a transparent plastic shopping bag during Paris Spring/Summer 2018 fashion week in January. The bag has since been spotted in a Nordstrom pop-up store in Seattle, retailing for $590. (That is approximately $589.95 higher than what a regular plastic bag costs to produce.)

Whenever I’m asked “paper or plastic” I always choose Kryptonite. I inform them that Superman might be out in the parking lot thinking that I owe him money.
As my late father would say, “What’s a sick chicken worth? Whatever someone will pay you for it.”
Of all the STUPID-@@@ stuff to blow a gob of money on.
A plastic bag???
Good grief.
Stupidity is found in every financial class.
Mr. McGuire to Benjamin: “There’s a great future in plastics. Think about it. Will you think about it?”.....”The Graduate”.
Is that the Nordstrom in Seattle, Venezuela?
Talk about the world’s simplest blackmarket knock-off.
Ever.
Might as well tack on a 90% excise tax. No one will notice.
Modern plastic bags, unlike paper, are a decent approximation of Kryptonite, even without time-wasting double-bagging.
Better living through chemistry!
Fool and money soon parted.
These people who buy these want to take my guns from me. Who is the mentally ill here?
Sounds a bit pricey. But, if/when it goes on a 5% sale for $569.99, I'm sure to stock up and buy dozens.
God Bless America. As long as it’s not fraud let people by what they want. Just so long as it’s not me and you LOL

A plastic bag???

Ah, but it’s ranch raised, small batch, artisanal plastic!
A few years ago, I was buying something at REI and saw a little plastic ball looking thing. I asked the clerk what it was and she told me it was a reusable bag.
“For 16 bucks?” I asked, incredulously
She told me it was made from recycled plastic then handed me my purchase in a paper bag.
“Paper?”
She went on to nervously explain that they were recycled paper stock.
I then said “trees were nothing but a slow growing crop.” Leaving her speechless.
But are the bags made of ethically sourced materials? Are they organic and vegan? Are the workers paid a living wage, and do they use their bounty to contribute to organizations that oppose President Trump?
If these bags pass a battery of tests, the electric-limousine liberals of California can buy them for their servants to use!
Like P T Barnum once said, “a sucker is born every minute. “
Did I get that right...?
