I recoil at all this testing they do before a baby is born because if someone does it, that must mean they’d consider killing a less than perfect child. I’ll never forget when my child called hysterical because she was pregnant and the doctor told her a test came back that something was wrong with her baby. She wouldn’t consider aborting the child and then the child was born perfectly healthy. How many babies are killed because they were considered less than perfect but there was nothing wrong with them. We need to stop playing God.

I undestand your position and respect it very much and think people do use it for the wrong reasons at times. There are many who want to know if there is a potental problem with the unborn and if a situaltion aries no matter what it shows they never consider aborting the child, unfortunately a few will. There are also times when the parents should be completely aware of the life changing events that will unfold which I know occured to someone I know. The child was not going to live upon birth but die within hours. The parents took the child to term knowing this and gave the child the only life it knew, love, touch, blood, and life. They knew the glory of their child and reveled in it every moment of every day knowing there childs day of birth which means so much to many would end in heart breaking tragedy.

You see for these are the times that early testing prepares and shapes our future when that time of great sadness is upon us, and thank God we have science reminding us of the higher level of value for the short brief moments our beloved unborn children are with us.
