The only way to raise children properly is with the biological mother and father raising them together in a Christian household. With that division of labor parenting is tough but there are so many more joyful times than bad times.
I have been blessed with two children and my only regret is that we did not have at least three children, maybe four.

"If I could turn the clock back I would not have had children," says Rachel I'll bet her children wish the same thing from time to time. Can there be anything worse than feeling that one's mother doesn't love you?

Maybe she should have gotten married first and raised all the children together as a family. Or she's the type that would have been miserable whether she had children or not. Take your pick!
"It just felt like an endless round of putting a bottle or food in their mouth for it to come out of the other end - and at what point was any of this going to be fun?
Omg, she had to feed them and clean them! Oh the humanity!

Interesting
In the late sixties or early 70s either Dear Abby or Ann Landers asked the question of her readers:
If you had to do it all over again would you have children.
and IIRC over 60% said no.

at what point was any of this going to be fun? Have you ever noticed that FUN has become the highest virtue? If it's not fun, it's not worth doing.
I noticed this when I told someone I was going to paint my porch that weekend and he said, "Well that doesn't sound like fun!"
I thought, "What an idiot!" I had been watching the weather, prepping the wood and looking forward to the task for weeks, knowing how beautiful it would be when I was finished and how satisfied I would feel knowing that I did it all myself.
But fun is the new god apparently.
