The wakes and funerals of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, HST, Ike, Ronald Reagan, JFK, were attended by all sorts & types of citizens paying respect to the passed leaders and their wives of the American Republic in massive numbers of rank and file American citizens.
The wake of Barbara Bush draw a paltry 6,000 people to view her casket in mourning. And...the following day funeral was a closed "elite establishment" affair, without hardly any public outpouring from the American public whatsoever.
Why? The Bush family with its envy, hatred, disdain, dislike and elitist gaul, dripping with disgust for POTUS, Donald J. Trump had done immense damage to its image in the eyes, ears and minds of millions of Americans who support POTUS, Trump and elected him POTUS.
That also a ditto for the Clintons and the Obamas who I suspect will get a similar reception upon their passing from the overwhelming numbers of the American people.
There used to be a time in America politics when elections were competitive, with both sides going at one another, but when the American people made their choice known...that choice was respected for those who were fairly elected.....and they would be given a fair chance to rule & legislate by a majority of the America people. No more!!!
I hate to say this......but, I fear the passing of some our past leaders passing time, will be met with simply...so what? Barbara Bush, who stood by and let the hate of Donald J. Trump fester in her sons, unabated. Not good for her and certainly not good for our beloved country. That is why you did not see or notice millions of mourning folks on the streets of the funeral procession, as we all did when Ronald Reagan passed away. Sad!!!

I think you have just about said it all. I did not watch the funeral as I have lost all respect for that family. The very worst of the worst, Bill Clinton, is embraced while President Trump is snubbed?
Bush, W and HW, used Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld and when they done with both, the Bushes threw them under the bus..
I have nothing but contempt for the Bush family and their “adopted son.”

Or you can review the number of people coming out for the passing of President Reagan vs. Ted Kennedy as a frame of reference, hardly anyone showed up for the Olds-Sub-Commander.

Ah, we might be getting colder, the younger generations are more into their devices than human contact, virtual funeral stuff going on as well, it might be the sign of the times. Perhaps in terms of the O's the C's and the B's maybe their welcome is wearing off, maybe with this Trumpian movement their is an awaking and maybe many are starting to realize we had been had and Buchanan and Perot were not nucking futs like the establishment told us, and the Swamp is real and smells of Methane. I wish him health, but you might be right, he was inept and a political disaster at times ( except for funding Stealth Aircraft ) however President Carter might get a more heartfelt send off that the O's, the C's and the B's.
Not sad really. The deep state media has been building this up as a highly momentous and tragic event. In effect, the enemedia is shamefully using BBush’s death as a means to enlist populist sentiment for the globalist Bush family.
The public won’t buy this stuff anymore. The public is tired of the deification of government officials and their families. In fact, the public should start to withhold such effusive praise for political leaders because this all about the creating government worship; the government as god.
I just worry about the day when Chelsea will run for office. Congress critter, state office, doesn’t matter. That will be her opportunity to run for president someday.

I noticed the very nasty look on Hillary’s face as she was walking behind Mrs. Trump a few feet in a video at the funeral.

We still have 5 living former Presidents and not one of them since 1/21/17 have come out and said give this guy a chance, he is our POTUS, respect the office. So when they are in the news do you think I spend a second on them because of this? I could care less, the last 30 yrs are looking like a nightmare, and the way they are behaving really fries my @$$...
The only 2 that have been decent to Our Lion is Dick Cheney, and Bob Dole, and they both never made it to POTUS. Now when Senator Dole goes to eternal rewards, I bet dollars to donuts Deplorables, Tea Partiers and even the Swamp Dwellers will go, A truly decent man he has grown in stature in my eyes, just my 2 cents...
the Bush men are evil, but Barbara Bush was a breathe of fresh air....I won’t hold the Bush enterprise against her...
