Following a tweet storm during which he vocalized support for Donald Trump, celebrities have started unfollowing Kanye West on Twitter. Not exactly shocking.
Pop Crave reports that Justin Bieber, BTS, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Kendrick Lamar are among the musicians who have unfollowed the rapper in the wake of his comments, which YIKES.
A quick perusal also indicates that John Legend isn't following Kanye, nor is Chrissy Teigen, Khloé Kardashian, or Kylie Jenner (though it's possible this has nothing to do with his recent tweets).
While a few celebs have supported Kanye in the midst of his Twitter musings, many have tweeted negative responsesincluding John Legend with a lengthy subtweet, Rosie O'Donnell, and Samuel L. Jackson.
As a sideline, he should voice support for Diamond and Silk. Probably lose more followers.
They were never his friends.
Yep. This is what we call “A Teachable Moment.”
Gee, I’m sitting here trying to find someone I might be surprised at as far as un-following Kanye. The usual suspects with more usual suspects to follow I’m sure.
Justin Bieber?
If that’s all it takes, I’m off to buy a hundred Trump “MAGA” hats. I’ll wear them everywhere hoping to avoid making friends with unknown liberals.
I guess Kanye was over the target. I’m not a fan but good for him. The commie libs need to take a few hits every now and then.
Bet Kim leaves him.
But the claim he lost 9 million was not true.
But he hasn’t done anything significant to earn my favor. I will wait for substance.
“Pop Crave reports that Justin Bieber, BTS, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Kendrick Lamar are among the musicians..........”...
Must not be very good musicians, I’ve never heard of many of them.
Kim’s mad Yeezy is praising Tristan Thompson on the b-ball court, wont be long now...
What instruments do they play?
that’s pretty much a roster of the most popular acts on the planet! such wussies they are...
Hahaha. He can handle it. He will have an even bigger following, and no doubt he will allow for others to come forth.
I was watching a recent episode of Live at the Apollo. Something very unusal happened.
Very tough crowd and they introduce Richard Pryor’s son, who is a stand up comic. I mean the room was buzzing, and the MC, Steve Harvey, who owes a lot to Pryor introduces the young man.
Pryor gets up there, and right out of the gate starts with the Trump jokes...one after another...then like within 30 seconds they boo him off the stage, I mean hard.
No one laughing. I’m thinking, out of respect they would have given the guy a break, but no. The Trump jokes fell flat.
IOWs, don’t kid yourself, a lot of minorities are for Trump.
I have more respect for him now. Im not a rap fan, far from it. Poor guy, he is now a Trotsky, an Emmanuel Goldstein.
Yeezy publicly posted John Legends sanctimonious tweets to him lol, gotta give him credit for that...
Kanye’s going “Scorched Earth”. LOL!
Kanye could be crazy as a fox here. Those Yeezy shoes will now be collectors items, 50% of the world will buy them in droves
