Precisely what I thought
I hope those men and women were pulled away from those trucks before the collapse. It covered the trucks in hot gases, flames and tons of debris. Prayers for those brave firefighters.
I guess fire can weaken metal afterall....

But....but.....steel doesn’t, like, burn...

Steel does burn, iron powder is what makes the bright white sparkles in fireworks.
But in a building, when wood and other things that burn at high temperatures, if the steel frame of the building is not properly fireproofed, it softens, and eventually bends like spaghetti.

As was obviously the case with the Twin Towers. I believe it was a spray application that was inadequate.
