Ford will soon wish they didn’t move Focus manufacturing to China.
A 25% tariff on cars out of China ensures they will not sell any of them here.
And, folks, don’t worry how this turns out.
The US has ALL the leverage and the Chinese have none. At best they can walk away and suffer the consequences.
I believe 25% is the tax CHINA charges us, to export things to China.
The tax we charge is just 2.5%, to import something to America.
That is a major point, in the trade talks, in fact.
